The crowd at the Sugar Creek Arts Festival in Normal, Illinois on July 12 and 13, was estimated at 20,000, despite a rainy start on Saturday morning. Thanks to everyone who stopped by my booth and special thanks to those who went home with my art!

Near Bath Road

During a long cold spring, this stand of trees off IL-97 near Bath glowed with white tops for only a week. Ochres and greens are set off against a late afternoon sky in this landscape painting.
